Wireless Mic

- TURN POWER ON -- SWITCHES 1 & 2 (on the wooden wall of sound booth just left of door opening) AT THIS POINT, ALL RED LIGHTS SHOULD BE LIGHTED ACROSS THE ENTIRE BOARD.
- LOCATE THE 2 YELLOW SLIDERS (master volume for speakers) UN-MUTE (push both white buttons directly above the sliders (red lights = mute /// no red lights = sound) Sliders should be set at -5 where the arrows point sideways.
- LOCATE ALTAR & LECTERN SLIDERS (volume for Altar or Lectern) MUTE or UN-MUTE as needed (push the appropriate white button directly above the desired location (red light = mute /// no red light = sound). ADJUST the appropriate SLIDER up or down to adjust the loudness. Avoid turning too loud, you invite feed back (squealing or loud popping). If happens, quickly mute or turn down.
- LOCATE APPROPRIATE WIRELESS-MIC SLIDER (note # on back of wireless unit: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7) PASTORS, CHILDREN, or WHO EVER. Normally units 1-4. Board can be marked by magnet label. Mute or Un-mute (push the appropriate white button directly above the desired location (red light = mute /// no red light = sound). ADJUST the appropriate SLIDER up or down to adjust the loudness. Avoid turning too loud, possible feed back (squealing or loud popping). If happens, turn down. If other mics are un-muted and feedback occurs, mute any unnecessary mics.
- TURN WIRELESS-MIC ON / OFF. Open little slide door underneath display on wireless unit. Push and hold power button for about 2 seconds until unit powers on. Power Off in the same manner. Make sure NOT to push Power Button accidentally. When the power button is pushed briefly, the unit is MUTED. UN-MUTE by briefly pressing Power Button again.
- CHECK / REPLACE WIRELESS-MIC BATTERY. After powered on, check the batt. bars displayed on WIRELESS unit and/or on the RECEIVER in the EQUIPMENT RACK in the rear corner of the sound booth. The corresponding number of the Wireless unit is also marked on the RECEIVER. If there is either one bar or none, REPLACE the 2 AA batteries in the WIRELESS unit. Batteries should be in the EQUIPMENT RACK. TURN OFF, open battery compartment, observe + or - marking on unit, close compartment and turn on power again.
- CONCLUSION OF SERVICE. Retrieve and POWER OFF any wireless units used, return them to the equipment rack. MUTE ALL SOUND BUTTONS -- should have RED LIGHTS LIGHTED ACROSS the entire sound board. POWER OFF THE SOUND BOARD, SWITCHES 1 & 2 in Step #1 above. DONE.
